Under 21 Open Mic! with your host Dylan Rose Carr is a talented musician from Rhode Island whose journey into music began with a guitar gifted by her Nana and was soon followed by a ukulele from her dad. Her passion ignited when she penned her first song, setting her on a path to pursue music wholeheartedly. 

Dylan’s musical development took shape at You Rock Studios in Cranston, RI, where she immersed herself in summer camps, band classes, and recording sessions. Her performance career started with an open mic at age 13, marking the beginning of her love for live performances. 

Currently a sophomore at The Met, an alternative high school in Newport, Dylan is making the most of her education by seeking out internships. She landed an exciting role with the Newport Festivals Foundation, which afforded her the chance to perform at the prestigious Newport Folk Festival.Dylan is eagerly working on new music and invites fans to check the "Find Me" tab to catch her at upcoming open mic events.
