Under 21 Open Mic! with your host Dylan Rose Carr

Dylan Rose Carr is an up-and-coming musician from North Kingstown, Rhode Island. She began playing music and writing songs at 13, using songwriting as a way to process and understand the world around her. From the moment she stepped on stage, Dylan knew that music was what she wanted to pursue.

Today, Dylan is part of the Artist Development Program at You Rock Studios, where she records and releases her original music. The program has helped her grow not only as an artist but also in confidence and self-expression.

Dylan is also a student at The Met School in Newport, where she got an internship with the Newport Festivals Foundation. Through this opportunity, she’s experienced incredible moments including performing at the legendary Newport Folk Festival, a dream come true.

Currently, Dylan is working on new music and encourages fans to stay tuned for upcoming performances and open mics as she continues to share her story through song.
