The Real Marie is a world-pop project led by songwriter and vocalist Dawn Cabral, bringing her original compositions to life with dynamic full-band arrangements. Dawn often collaborates with an ever-changing lineup of musicians she’s connected with through open mics, jam sessions, and studio production work—making each performance uniquely alive.

Grounded in soul-jazz and infused with reggae, funk, and blues, The Real Marie delivers music that grooves while carrying lyrics that cut straight to the heart. Guided by Dawn’s motto—“fun factor is number one, and don’t be boring”—the band creates shows that are as moving as they are joyful.

Le Prestige makes low-tech, organic, and improvisational instrumental music influenced by both the looped grooves of 90's hip-hop and 60’s “soul jazz” stylings. They create danceable grooves with funk, jazz and reggae melodies.
