Purple Ivy Shadows was an American indie rock band formed in Charlottesville, Virginia in 1991. They later relocated to Providence, Rhode Island, in 1993, where they established their permanent base. The band was known for their dreamy, country-tinged sound, drawing comparisons to artists like Hugo Largo. They released several EPs and singles before disbanding in early 2002.
