Our host for May is our good friend Bill Bartholomew. Bill is a Rhode Island-based journalist, podcaster, radio producer, and musician. He's the creator of Bartholomewtown, a hyper-local podcast focusing on RI politics, culture, and news, which recently hit its 500th episode. His journalism took off during the COVID-19 pandemic, where his coverage established him as a serious reporter. Although he studied political science, Bill learned journalism through experience, a love of media, and mentorship from seasoned reporters.

In addition to podcasting, he is Assistant Program Director and Executive Producer at WPRO radio, where he also occasionally fills in as host. He contributes to Rhode Island PBS and continues his career as a musician, performing and curating events throughout the Northeast. His background in the arts and diverse life experiences fuel his work ethic and creative drive. Despite his packed schedule, he remains passionate and all-in, driven by the potential for everyday magic.
