Jason Loewenstein is a founding member of the influential indie rock band Sebadoh, known for his raw energy, sharp songwriting, and fearless guitar work. A key figure in the lo-fi and DIY movements of the ’90s, he’s also played with The Fiery Furnaces, Richard Buckner, and David Kilgour. Whether on stage or in the studio, Loewenstein brings a fierce, uncompromising spirit to everything he does—equal parts noise, melody, and guts.
Jeff Mueller is a Louisville-born musician best known as a founding member of the pioneering post-hardcore band Rodan and later the influential June of 44. With June of 44, Mueller helped shape the sound of the ’90s underground through a string of acclaimed releases including Engine Takes to Water and Four Great Points. He also co-founded Shipping News, further expanding his reach into experimental rock. After nearly two decades away, June of 44 reunited in 2018 and continue to perform and record, reaffirming their place as one of the most vital bands to emerge from the Louisville scene.
No Chief is a new solo project from Sebadoh drummer, Bob D’Amico.
