Chris Brokaw is a Boston-based singer, songwriter, guitarist, drummer, and film composer. Best known as the drummer for Codeine and guitarist for Come—both influential ’90s indie rock bands—he has since built a prolific solo career spanning rock, acoustic, and experimental works. His projects include albums like Puritan, Canaris, and The Periscope Twins, as well as unique interpretations such as The Hand That Wrote This Letter (classical guitar versions of Bowie and Prince).

Brokaw has toured extensively worldwide, teaches guitar and drums, and is active in film scoring, with credits on award-winning and MOMA-screened films. He has collaborated with artists ranging from Thurston Moore and Evan Dando to international groups like Tamikrest. His performance projects include the Chris Brokaw Rock Band, The Martha’s Vineyard Ferries, Charnal Ground, The Lemonheads, and various duos.

In 2021–22, he resumed touring, with Fire Records reissuing Come’s catalog and releasing a Peel Sessions album.

Founded in Falmouth, Cornwall in 2013, The Golden Dregs is the project of songwriter and producer Benjamin Woods, now based in South London. Shifting between one-man band and seven-piece ensemble, the project is defined by Woods’ baritone voice, sharp lyricism, and singular perspective across four albums: Lafayette (2018), Hope Is For The Hopeless(2019), On Grace & Dignity (2023), and Godspeed (2025).

While On Grace & Dignity reflected on rural Cornwall, Godspeed turns its gaze to London, charting the peaks and pitfalls of city life with hooks that avoid cliché in favor of fresh, unpredictable turns. Released on Woods’ own imprint, Joy of Life International (with End of the Road Records), the album marks a bold statement of independence and intent.

LIGHTS OUT is the duo of Jane Hesser and John Kolodij, sometimes Ken Linehan and Brian Jablonski.  Their sound is ike a long drive down an old dirt road with the windows rolled down, suffused with an extreme reticence & romance & guitars.
