Gold Dust is a band from rural Western MA and sounds like it. Drawing as much inspiration from local lore and hometown legends Dinosaur Jr as they do from the traditional folk revival of 1970s UK, Gold Dust emerges with a sound that is distinctly of New England. Started as a solo project by Stephen Pierce (Ampere, Kindling) in 2020, they now function. asa full band comprised of Ally Einbinder (Potty Mouth), Sean Greene (The Van Pelt), and Adam Reid (Nanny). Their new LP, "In the Shade of the Living Light," features guest musicians J Mascis (Dinosaur Jr), Anthony Saffery (Cornershop), Fred Thomas, Sean Yeaton (Parquet Courts), and others. 

Convinced Friend is the musical project of singer-songwriter A.S. Wilson, based out of Providence, Rhode Island. It's a collection of indie-rock songs with a strong sense of place and narrative. Wilson, originally from a town south of New Orleans, relocated to New England in 2018 and rediscovered his passion for songwriting. The project, named after a Quaker term for religious conversion, explores themes of commitment, uncertainty, and the human experience, drawing inspiration from artists like Pedro The Lion, Jose Gonzales, and Jason Molina.
