Exploding Zones is an experimental space rock trio based in Providence, Rhode Island, known for their noise-heavy, distorted sound with driving rhythms, featuring members Mike Duffy (guitar/vocals), Christopher Kelley (bass), and Eric Smith (drums). Their debut album, Water Motor Gong Bell, was released in 2023, showcasing a style often compared to 80s and 90s alternative rock. 

Gertrude Atherton is a three-piece punk rock band based in Providence, RI, known for performing stories about, "women who turn into gnarled birds". Formed by Shannon Le Corre, Nicole Lagace, and Melanie Fuest, the band has released music via Bandcamp and Facebook. Their music, including the release Gossip(2026), was recorded in Providence, Rhode Island.

Hailing from Providence, RI Muffin is a feminist punk band fueled by rage, sarcasm, and zero patience for nonsense. Theirmusic is loud, fast, and aggressively over it - distorted riffs, pounding drums, and lyrics that say what everyone's thinking but isn't supposed to say out loud. Muffin plays punk the way it was meant to be played: confrontational, cathartic, and allergic to respectability.
