Death Salon: an open mic about mortality, loss, and being alive.


Death Salon is an evening of artistic expression centered on mortality, loss, and being alive.  You may bring music, poetry, movement, stories, or whatever means of expression calls to you, and sign up for a time slot.   Or you may attend and simply enjoy the communal experience and open-hearted atmosphere.  Despite the subject, these events are always full of heart, laughter, and yes, some tears.  The sign up sheet will be available 30 minutes before the show starts.

Siobhan Marie Doherty is the founder of Blue Tomato Studio: creativity coaching, joy facilitation, and feminist historical comedy.  She believes that everyone is wildly creative and is passionate about work that meets the heavy parts of life with honesty, humor, and purposeful play.  She loves to provide transformative experiences of deep listening and creation of more internal space for joy.
