In Central European folklore, December 5th belongs to Krampus—the horned, chain-rattling terror who accompanies St. Nicholas to punish the naughty with a bundle of birch sticks and a sack for the truly wicked. This year, Burlesque ’n Roll Presents: Krampusnacht at Myrtle transforms that dark legend into a wicked night of holiday mayhem.
Expect an interdisciplinary spectacle where dark folklore meets campy, punky, and sexy performance art. The evening features three powerhouse live bands—Charming Disaster, Muffin, and Sunday Girl—interspersed with sizzling performances from some of New England’s premier burlesque dancers. Part high-energy holiday party, part theatrical cabaret, and entirely wild. BUT BEWARE: Krampus himself will be prowling the room with his birch sticks, chains, and bells, looking for anyone who’s been less than nice. Consider yourself warned!
