Songwriter, storyteller, playwright and author Bill Harley has made a living and a life from his songs and stories. A member of the Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame and two-time Grammy winner for his family recordings, he was a co-founder of Stone Soup Coffeehouse and has appeared in coffeehouses, schools, and on stages and festivals around the world, from Ireland to India, Hiroshima to Hackensack. He was most recently seen in this area in the one-man retelling of the Homeric epic, An Iliad, at the Burbage Theater in Pawtucket. At Myrtle, he’ll share a wide selection of his songs and monologues, insightful, humorous and heartfelt, from fifty years of work, accompanied by his friends Marty Ballou, Cathy Clasper-Torch, Keith Munslow and Marty Richards
